Inspired People
Our founder was fired from a sales job in 2003 along with the top five percent of those in his position nationwide for, very literally, being too good at what he did. Yeah, it's one of the dumbest things we've ever heard, too, which might explain why the company in question doesn't exist anymore. In the end, though, corporate America's loss was a good thing, because it put him in a position with a local consulting firm. Three years and a little bit of frustration there guided him to starting up his own business on Opening Day of the 2006 MLB season and, eventually, to the formation of FortySixTen Studios.

Some would consider it a remarkable string of coincidental misfortunes that brought Larry to the nirvana of self-employment. Others would believe that it's part of His (God's, not Larry's) plan. We're firmly in the latter camp around here; we believe that things happen for a reason, and we try to spend every day at FortySixTen Studios doing our best to fulfil that purpose.
Faith-Based Business
We like to think that we do business a slightly different way. We apply the same principles to our business that we try to live our lives by, and we seek at all times to run an honest, straightforward business. What you see is what you get with us, and when you deal with FortySixTen Studios, you're going to get honest business practices, a fair price, and a company behind you that cares about you, the client, far beyond the monetary value of a project.
We also believe in the work of those out there who are spreading the good news about Jesus Christ, and try to do everything we can to help out other parts of the Body with what they need. So if you're a church or Christian-based non-profit with a small budget but still need something done, don't hesitate to give us a call; we may well be able to work with you.
Skill and Experience
Our lead developer and consultant has been programming since before his voice changed, creating websites since before he graduated from high school, and working with computers since programs came on cassette tapes. He is now a father of three children who have never used a cassette tape, has grey hair threatening to annex his head, and has a slowly expanding waistline. He's been doing this for a while. He has more than two decades worth've got more than twenty years of experience with computers to put to use on your project.
As a web design professional, he's worked on projects for an international best-selling author, politicians, a coach for multi-million dollar business owners, churches, and many points in between. He was the lead in creating a subscription service that was able to generate over $20,000 in monthly income for its owners. He brought a card game with decades of history to life as a web-based application. With strong leadership and in-house expertise in HTML, PHP, CSS, and MySQL, and many more obscure acronyms, we're ready to put the skill and experience of FortySixTen Studios to work for you.
